july 24th/World Ivermectin Day!

Welcome Back! So before I launch into this very important blog, I want to say something very critical here! Nothing about what I am about to write is politically driven in any way! Science and medicine should never be politicized. Period! I am an artist, a concerned mother, and a grieving daughter, who, in the fight to save my daddy’s life and bring him home, learned what drives our ‘for-profit’ medical system in the United States of America. What I learned brought my to my knees and sent me on a journey of discovery, inspiring me to write the song “Ask Yourself Why?”©

As I mentioned in my previous blog, I fought hard, to get the hospital to use the iMask+ protocol; a protocol being administered in hospitals in West Virginia, Florida, Wisconsin, Texas, etc., only to have my father’s hospital tell me that they don’t treat with that protocol. I couldn’t understand how, 10 months into a pandemic, we had so many different protocols being used in our U.S. hospitals!? Why weren’t all the critical care doctors using the same protocol?  For instance, one of the vital elements of the iMask+ protocol is to administer high doses of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) intravenously in hospitalized Covid patients. Especially for patients like my father, who was having trouble eating. The doctors told me they didn’t offer that?? Haven’t we known for some time that high doses of vitamin C boost the immune system and helps to fight off nasty pathogens? Am I missing something?

I also found out from Dr. Paul Marik, a respected professor of critical care medicine at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, a highly published research doctor, and the brains behind this iMask+ protocol, that my dad was getting the wrong steroid and it was being given to him at the wrong time in the course of the illness. He explained that early on in the symptomatic phase of the virus, one should not receive steroids, because steroids weaken the immune system. And I found out that my father was being given the steroid dexamethasone instead of the recommended methylprednisolone.  Methylprednisolone is shown to penetrate the lung better, which makes sense since this is a respiratory virus.  Why were these doctors not working together??

Everyday I called the hospital so I could to talk to the doctors and to the hospital administration. My family and I were willing to sign a waiver. The hospital started to ignore my phone calls. I was desperate, as I was seeing that my father was becoming increasingly hypoxic.  I knew he was moving into the cytokine storm phase and that’s when most people go on a ventilator.  They were giving him a very expensive antiviral drug called Remdesivir, antibiotics and dexamethasone, and it wasn’t working!!  I was furious that he was getting no supplements to support his immune system too. I knew they were vital to his aged body in the fight against this beast. I wanted to trust, but I no longer could.

After they ignored me and Dr. Marik (he gave me his cellphone number to share with my father’s pulmonologist..they didn’t call him), I decided to take matters into my own hands!  So, I had an idea!  I would put a full dosage of ivermectin in the straw of a strawberry shake and drop it off at the hospital for my dad.  I told him he had to drink it.  OVERNIGHT, he went from needing 40 liters of high flow oxygen down to 10 liters.  The nursing staff was ecstatic, but I couldn’t tell them ‘why’ he turned the corner.  The next day, I brought him another strawberry shake from Dairy Queen with ivermectin in the straw and he went down to 2 liters of supplemental oxygen.  I was told that once he was below needing 6 liters of oxygen for a full 72 hours, that he would be discharged from the hospital.  We ultimately were able to bring my silly, lovable daddy home!

So, as I started to ponder what had happened and why I was being ignored, I started to connect the dots.  You see ivermectin is a very inexpensive drug at between $7 to $13 a dosage.  It’s off-patent, meaning nobody can profit from it.  Why wasn’t there a panel of scientists and researchers put together to study repurposed drugs for consideration in the treatment of Covid-19?  And why was the copious data and subsequent meta-analysis collected from around the world, with regards to ivermectin and its efficacy in treating Covid-19, being ignored and now (7 months later), censored?   I don’t think you have to be a brain surgeon to know why?  There is no money in it.  My dad’s hospital couldn’t charge his insurance for a $7 treatment and make a profit!  And, even worse, a vaccine isn’t necessary if there is a proven treatment for Covid-19.  And we all know the money being generated around the vaccines.

Now…. Ask yourself why you and your doctor haven’t heard about ivermectin in the treatment of this horrible virus?

” Ask yourself why you feel confusion,

when ‘Tech’oons peddle personal care.

Ask yourself why you see delusions

when tycoons take up more than their share.

Ask yourself watching moving pictures,

does everything appear as it seems?

Ask yourself when a voice is silenced,

does the truth lie behind those memes?

And they’re all sitting there like the fools on the hill

without anyone asking why.

And so day after day the ‘Play’ plays itself out

as we Babel and life passes by.

Gotta ask yourself, why!?

Ask yourself why he takes up land

When his systems are all up the air.

Ask yourself why we eat Beyond

And ask yourself why should you care.

Ask why doctors testify

‘never’ to be heard.

Ask yourself why the needle’s pressed

and why the safety bar is blurred.

And we’re all sitting here hearing fools on the hill

without anyone asking why.

And so day after day the ‘play’ plays itself out

as we Babel and life passes by.

Gotta ask yourself, why!?.”…….©

This is just part of the song and lyrics I wrote for the song “Ask Yourself Why?”

This Saturday, July 24th at 9:00 am PST, we will be uploading the music video and the full lyrics for World Ivermectin Day! (click to read more stories like mine)

We now are seeing another surge in cases. It’s up to the people to spread the word and help end this pandemic! Below are the links for where you will be able to see the video and read more of the lyrics I wrote and why! Please share and help save lives!

This song is dedicated to the heroic physicians and researchers of the FLCCC (Frontline Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance) and to my dad Cornelius J. Boyle (Oct, 6 1941 -Feb. 5, 2021).  On July 24, 2021, this song and video were released as a part of World Ivermectin Day! https://worldivermectinday.org/ivermectin-stories/
