Ask Yourself Why?

Hello! So here I am again, sitting down to write on this Sunday afternoon. The original plan was to continue expounding on the writing of the song ‘Big Mama’ and how I myself, am a big mama. But as life goes, and being in the flow of listening to guidance from above, I am changing directions, yet again. See, something BIG is happening this week. Something that is very personal to me, and an event that is important to all of humanity!! If you read my first blog entry, you may remember me saying that I was going to share the details of the heartbreaking journey I went on with my father and mother in January 2021, when Covid-19 hit our family. Because of this worldwide event happening on Saturday July 24th, and the lyrics I wrote, inspired but those events, I will be blogging about these lyrics this week, starting today!

I wrote a powerful, heavy hitting song called “Ask Yourself Why?”© with my band member, Michael Williams, after returning from a 5 week harrowing ordeal with my parents.  I had seen Dr. Pierre Kory’s impassioned testimony in front of the United States Senate on December 8th, 2020, in which he spoke about a repurposed, cheap and safe drug called ivermectin and its use in treating Covid-19. Two weeks after that, Covid-19 hit our family. I started to research this drug called ivermectin. My brother is a pharmacist and we found that it was known to be a safe drug, and that close to 4 billion people had taken the drug worldwide. I found out that it was used for parasites and regularly used in many third world nations weekly as a preventative for river blindness. I also found out that it was used for parasites in animals. I was fortunate enough to connect with the lead critical care physician behind the treatment protocol touted by Dr. Kory. His name is Dr. Paul Marik and he happened to be in a neighboring state. He was nice enough to call me back to see if he could help. Our family decided we wanted to treat my parents with the iMask+ protocol put together by these doctors of the FLCCC (The Frontline Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance). I treated my mother at home with ivermectin and the accompanying supplementation in this protocol.  Even though she had blood clots in her legs, she had a relatively easy time with the virus.  My father had to go into the hospital right away, and I worked diligently to try to get the hospital to use this off-label, repurposed medication. They refused, even after I supplied them with all of the supporting data, and even after I gave them Dr. Marik’s personal cellphone number so my dad’s doctors could have a peer to peer review with him. I even begged to sign a waiver.  Nothing.  It was a gut-wrenching time, and so frustrating because I couldn’t even go into the hospital to see my beloved father.  On day 12 of my father’s hospital stay, I managed to get a full dosage of ivermectin into him. More on that later! At this point, he was requiring between 40 to 60 liters of high flow oxygen and could possibly be put on a ventilator.  Overnight, after receiving the ivermectin, he went down to needing only 10 liters of supplemental oxygen. I then gave him another dosage and he went down to just needing 2 liters of oxygen. Ultimately, I was able to get my father out of the hospital.

This is my family’s personal story. I will add more details in future writings. But for now, I just wanted to give you an overview of what happened.

Over the last seven months, I have watched, with great pain and anger, the tireless efforts of these critical care doctors using ivermectin, and highly respected researchers, like Dr. Tess Lawrie, be censored and discredited, as they have tried to get the data, the science, and the numerous success stories to the public.  Saturday, July 24th, is World Ivermectin Day! Yes, millions from around the world will be coming together to fight the suppression of this information. Why is it being suppressed? We have our theories, and I will share those with you too. Let the censorship end!!
